St. Peter (Schooner) logbook, 1793.

The logbook of the schooner St. Peter details four fishing voyages from Cape Ann and Beverly, Mass., to the Grand Banks of Newfoundland, March-Nov. 1793. The schooner's owners were John Smith and Benjamin Lovett; the master was John Thistle. The logbook also includes three pages of the log abstract of a shipping voyage of the schooner Sally from Salem, Mass., to Virginia in 1794 (John Thistle, master).
